Project Overview

Shortly after making the decision to reinvent the Holiday Inn brand “for the next 50 years,” InterContinental Hotels Group retained PDSI to oversee the development of their new concept and first new hotel in over 25 years. Beginning with a rough draft of a program, the loose criteria of a new concept, a site and an investment model, PDSI delivered this hotel in less than 13 months.

PDSI’s services included a complete evaluation of the site, preparation of detailed brand and investment criteria, formulization of an aggressive development plan, retention of the project team and an owners representative oversight role during the construction of this new hotel.

The project opened on schedule with contingency reserves of $280,000 out of $1 million still intact after completion.
