Sr. Project Manager
With over 30 years of experience in hospitality construction and renovation, Joel Brown brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PDSI team. As a Senior Project Manager, Joel builds high performing teams that lead, oversee, and coordinate all phases of his projects from scope development to project close-out. Along with his dedicated teams, Mr. Brown executes each project to PDSI’s high standards while realizing the client’s vision fully and efficiently maximizing the return on their investment. Mr. Brown prioritizes mentorship, using the lessons learned during his years of experience to create a successful environment which maximizes the talents and abilities of everyone working with him. He believes one of the keys to being a successful mentor is to keep learning.
Prior to joining PDSI, Mr. Brown enjoyed success working for some of the most accomplished corporations in the business. In addition to working for Streit & Brown, as well as bkg Service Corporation, he oversaw the redevelopment of the W Hotel Buckhead for Noble Investment Group, managed the conversion of the historical Adolphus Hotel for Rockbridge Capital, and served as Project Manager and Vice President with Frazee, Incorporated.
During his 12 years spent serving his country on Active Duty and Reserve in the US Air Force, Mr. Brown received the Air Force Commendation medal, the Air Force Achievement medal with 2 clusters, and the National Defense medal. He operates the AV / Sound equipment while volunteering with his church and is a member of the American Legion #265.
