Ralph C. Engelberger

Ralph Engelberger co-founded Project Development Services, Inc. (PDSI) in 2001 and serves as CCO. Mr. Engelberger’s primary responsibility is to drive the maximum value from our clients’ investments, enhancing their opportunities and investment strategies by offering a unique approach to the clients’ vision. In a business rife with a focus on problems, Mr. Engelberger’s role is to ensure PDSI brings the solutions by identifying opportunities that may otherwise be overlooked. It is PDSI’s ability to listen, hear and envision solutions that is Mr. Engelberger’s passion. His focus on PDSI leading teams that maximize the investment goals of each client has enabled PDSI to develop and execute over 500 projects with a total value of approximately $5 billion. A focus on driving value, combined with an attention to detail, efficiency, economy and engineering innovations are among the hallmarks of every PDSI project.
Prior to founding PDSI, Mr. Engelberger enjoyed a successful global development, project management and engineering career at InterContinental Hotels Group, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, the John Hardy Group and WL Thompson Engineering. He has served in such operational positions as Senior Vice President – Technical Services, Vice President, Director of Projects, Project Director and Project Engineer.
Mr. Engelberger is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He serves as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at All Saints’ Episcopal Church and is also an active member of Habitat for Humanity, Project Management Institute and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Engelberger earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama with studies at Harvard University, MIT and DePaul University.
