Laura Farber
Controller
A CPA with over fifteen years of accounting and finance experience, Ms. Farber is responsible for PDSI’s corporate accounting functions and uses her deep knowledge and expertise of accounting rules and regulations to oversee and guide the financial direction of PDSI. Under supervision of the Executive Team, she works in partnership with the team, staff, and outside service providers to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness of PDSI’s financial performance. Her role is integral to PDSI’s ability to meet client goals and expectations of quality by delivering service that continues to set a benchmark for the industry.
Prior to joining PDSI, Ms. Farber served as Controller for a public accounting firm where she was responsible for establishing, maintaining and supervising the firm’s accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, in addition to preparing the firm’s financial statements, overseeing the payroll process, and managing administrative staff. Before taking on the role as Controller, she worked closely with some of the firm’s largest healthcare and manufacturing clients, assisting with their tax planning, compliance, and structuring needs.
Ms. Farber is an active Board member and serves as Treasurer for C4 Atlanta, a non-profit arts service organization that connects arts entrepreneurs to the people, skills and tools they need to build a successful artistic career in metro Atlanta. Ms. Farber earned her degree from Agnes Scott College, and she is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
