As a Project Coordinator, Ms. Patterson plays an integral role responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project related to FF&E and contract administration. She assists with consultant team RFPs, the awarding of consultants, and the design team. Tina’s daily responsibilities include organizing and controlling FF&E specifications, purchase orders, tracking and expediting, as well as communicating status updates, risks and opportunities to the project team. In addition to managing FF&E, Ms. Patterson also acts as liaison between the PDSI project management team and project consultants.
Prior to working for PDSI, Ms. Patterson worked as a Project Manager for Price Modern (a Haworth Furniture Dealership). In this role she managed all aspects of their healthcare projects, from sales to closeout, including shipping and coordination of delivery of furniture. Tina also worked as an Activation/FF&E Manager for the 83-million-dollar construction project of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she oversaw procurement of all furniture and minor FF&E materials for the project.
Ms. Patterson has a Master of Arts degree in Expressive Therapies from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor’s in Human Services Education from the University of Tennessee. She also achieved a Project Management Certification from the University of Louisville, as well as a Change Management Certification. Tina enjoys the arts, creativity and working with children. She volunteers and leads workshops with Scrap B-More, which inspires creative reuse with environmentally sustainable art materials for educational programs in the Baltimore community.
