Ms. Tara Berry plays an integral role in the formation, development and administration of all accounting support functions for PDSI’s operations team. This includes assisting in the coordination and control of the budgeting process for development of project budgets and the translation of those budgets into project cost reports.
As a Project Accountant, Tara provides PDSI’s clients the added assurance that their project accounting reporting is accurate, timely, and in line with best practices in the business. By consistently updating each project’s cost report to track all commitments and payments made throughout the life of the project, she can apprise clients of the exact status of their budgets at any given moment. Ms. Berry also processes all vendor payments and saves clients valuable time by acting as a direct link to the Project Manager for any questions relating to invoicing. Tara is a problem solver by nature, has a knack for process, and is known for her professional honesty and integrity.
Ms. Berry has over 25 years in the construction industry with several different roles over her career. Most recently, Tara worked for AECOM Hunt as a Project Accountant responsible for over 5 projects, with one project having 32 owner contracts.
Tara has a Master of Science degree in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She also has a Technical Communication Certification from Chattahoochee Technical College. When not working at PDSI, Ms. Berry enjoys her grandchildren, 3 cats, and riding motorcycles with her husband.
