Roberto Madera

Project Manager

Mr. Roberto Madera brings over 21 years of construction industry experience as a Civil Engineer leading to project management and joins PDSI in the role of Project Manager for our San Juan office.  Mr. Madera’s responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing all phases of the projects to ensure all work is completed within budget, and that quality control measures are maintained by effectively managing all aspects of the project.

Prior to joining PDSI, Roberto worked as an independent contractor with Roberto Madera & Associates as an Inspector of Record/Building Inspector and Owner’s Representative for Multi-Family Developments Vistas del Boulevard and Galeria Urbana, as well as an Independent On-Site Project Manager for PDSI for the El San Juan Hotel and Caribe Hilton.  Mr. Madera also was a Senior Project Manager/Site Manager for Bird Group, LLC; a Program Manager for Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority (PRIFA); and a Sr. Project Manager for CSCG General Contractors.  Mr. Madera was the Project Leader/Inspector for CPM International where he managed a team of 5 Engineers.

Roberto has a Master of Science degree in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, UK, a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (ABET Certified) from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.   Mr. Madera also holds a Civil Engineering license from the Puerto Rico State Department.  When not working, Roberto enjoys family time with his wife and two children.
