Assistant Project Manager
After Hurricane Maria hit his homeland in Puerto Rico, Pablo Melendez knew he wanted to return, and began working with PDSI as an Assistant Project Manager to help with the reconstruction. Mr. Melendez is responsible for coordinating the assembly of the project documents and schedule, and design team management for our San Juan office. He is tasked with delivering projects on schedule and within budget, and enjoys the problem solving that comes with each project.
Prior to joining PDSI, Pablo worked for Geoscience Group in Charlotte, NC as a Field Technician for testing compliance of construction materials with project specifications. He also worked for DRMP Inc. as a Construction Engineering Inspector for the NCDOT to ensure roadway projects we built according to code and specifications. His most recent projects prior to joining PDSI are The Kingsley Town Center development project in Ft. Mill, SC and the expansion of the Frito Lay factory in Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Melendez has a BS in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He has worked as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society of Puerto Rico and is a youth soccer coach. Pablo is a huge soccer fan but enjoys playing and watching all sports.
