Ms. Janina Cortez brings 15 years of business administration experience to our PDSI San Juan office. As a Project Administrator, Ms. Cortes assists the project team in the administration of documents and contracts for their projects. She also assists the project team in their responsibility of all construction activity and the delivery of a completed project on time, on budget and within the design criteria approved by the Client. Janina is very detail oriented and enjoys problem solving, while making her clients feel important.
Ms. Cortez spent 5 years working in the IT industry for two small software service companies local to the Washington DC area. She then made the jump into the Construction field for 4 years as the Office Manager/Owner’s rep for a high-end Design + Build Landscape Architecture firm, Surrounds Landscape Architecture + Construction, in Virginia. There she was responsible for all Accounting, Human Resources, and the day to day operations. After 10yrs in the DC metro area, Janina moved back to Puerto Rico where she was an office manager for PGESCom and Gila LLC, a Navient company, before coming to PDSI.
Janina has a bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. Outside of work, Ms. Cortez enjoys traveling with her husband and 2 sons. She believes in giving back and as a family participates in Operation Christmas Child, as well as other charities helping children and animals.
