Assistant Project Manager
Mr. Rodriguez joins PDSI as an Assistant Project Manager for our San Juan Office. He had worked as a field engineer, with CMA Architects & Engineers, as a part of the team PDSI assembled for the El San Juan Hotel renovation project prior to Hurricane Maria in 2017. Because of the extensive hurricane damage in Puerto Rico, we were able to gain Christian as a full-time member of the PDSI family to help oversee the rebuilding projects in Puerto Rico. From coordinating the assembly of the project documents and schedule to design team management, Mr. Rodriguez plays an integral part in delivering projects on schedule and within budget. He enjoys playing a part of transforming an idea from paper to reality and likes working with contractors to achieve great results for his clients.
In addition to working with CMA Architects & Engineers, Christian worked for RRR Engineering Services as a Project Engineer. Some notable projects he has completed are the NeoMed Health Center, Bairoa’s Sports Complex, the El San Juan Hotel renovation project, and the current El San Juan Hotel Hurricane reconstruction project.
Mr. Rodriguez has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and holds an Engineering in Training License (EIT). He hopes to have his Professional Engineering License (PE) by next year. When not working at PDSI, Christian enjoys playing soccer and basketball, surfing and dogs. He likes to spend some of his free time volunteering at Animal Shelters, and cleaning trash off the beaches.
