Brian Venable

Project Manager

With over 30 years of experience as a registered Architect, Brian Venable brings a wealth of knowledge to PDSI’s Project Management team in our Baltimore office.  After a long career as an Architect focusing on design and project management of hotels, retail and office projects, Brian desired to be on the development side of hotel projects.  He is passionate about design, interesting uses of materials, and the sequence of space.  His goal with every project is to help create a “memorable experience for the guests”.

Over his career, Mr. Venable has worked for several top Architectural firms across the United States including Elkus Manfredi Architects, MV+A Architects and Parker-Torres Design, where he completed a variety of project types including Master Planning, Historic Renovation, and Interior & Exterior renovations.  Projects most notable are The Grand Veranda Resort Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi, The Aspen Ritz-Carlton Hotel, The Boston Kopley Square Hotel and The Intercontinental Hotel & Residences in Boston, MA, which won 2006 ALIS ‘Development of the Year’.

Brian holds Architectural Licenses for the State of California and the State of Massachusetts, with an NCARB certificate.  He is a Member of the American Institute of Architects and participates in the Washington DC AIA Chapter.  He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University School of Fine and Professional Arts.  When not working at PDSI, Brian enjoys volunteering at his local church and is a Boy Scout Leader.
