PIMCO, a global investment management firm, commissioned PDSI to develop a property improvement plan (PIP) and budget for a portfolio comprised of a mix of hotel brands, including Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites, and Holiday Inn. Given the diversity of the portfolio, PDSI’s understanding of each brand was essential, as was our experience in handling multiple projects running on similar schedules in different locations.
To ensure that project timelines and budgets were adhered to, PDSI created efficiencies by utilizing shared resources — a strategy that allowed our team to complete the job considerably under-budget. Those savings gave our client the means to renovate an additional hotel, a significant increase in ROI.
