Crowne Plaza Silver Spring

Renovation
Silver Spring, MD

Part of Lodgian 5, a renovation group, Lodgian Inc. retained PDSI to manage the renovation of the meetings rooms and public areas. PDSI's focus was to upgrade the tired existing meeting rooms to compete with other local hotels. The design team embraced the uniquely shaped ballrooms to create spaces suitable for elegant weddings and seminar gatherings.

A large portion of the project budget was dedicated to the installation of a new hotel boiler plant. The property had suffered for years with an ailing hot water system. PDSI successfully led design and installation of the new boiler plant with little impact on the hotel operation.

PDSI delivered this renovation project on schedule within a very aggressive 6 week construction window. The project was delivered under budget and on time.
