Crowne Plaza White Plains
Renovation
White Plains, NY
PDSI was retained by InterContinental Hotels and REM, insurance managers, to assist in managing renovation work for the hotel's lower level meeting rooms, public corridors and pool area that had been damaged by flood. PDSI assisted in assembling the project team to salvage the spaces after the flood and plan for the repair and put back. Working with REM and the hotel, PDSI helped manage all consultants, subcontractors, and furniture and equipment vendors. Part of the renovation included the upgrading of the pool equipment and pool structure to meet current codes.
Working with civil engineers and architects, a retaining wall was added to the site to mitigate any future damage resulting from floods in front of the property.
