Hyatt Regency Montreal

Renovation
Montreal, Canada

Shortly after acquiring this property, CNL Hospitality retained PDSI to manage the renovation of this Canadian property primarily because of our executive's extensive experience renovating hotels in foreign countries.

To accomplish this full union renovation project, PDSI used the talents of an international Project Team and managed the construction phases with direct on-site personnel. Phase 1 included the renovation of all guestrooms, bathrooms, and corridors. Phase 2 included the renovation of all public areas, food & beverage outlets and the creation of a new concierge club.

This project was completed while the hotel remained open and, due to superior planning by both the operations team (Hyatt Hotels) and the project team, was accomplished with very little disruption to the existing operations.

Both phases of this project were accomplished on schedule and within budget in 2005.
