Hampton Inn Oxnard

Redevelopment
Oxnard, CA

As part of the master plan for the Channel Island Harbor Hotel Redevelopment Project for Greystar Real Estate Partners and Harbor Hospitality, PDSI managed Phase One of the conversion of the Casa Sirena North Building into a free standing Hampton Inn product with 95 keys. Originally constructed in 1970, this building underwent a complete renovation involving site work, mechanical and electrical
systems, a new exterior envelope, stairways, elevator modernization and all new interior finishes.

A meeting room and administration building for the main hotel were converted into a free standing lobby building. A new covered walkway was constructed to connect these two buildings. Site work also included a pool and fire pit area for the guests. In addition, a new storm water management program was installed as part of the building upgrade.

Along with overall design and construction team management, PDSI's services also included entitlement management with the California Coastal Commission, Channel Island Harbor Commission, Ventura county and the City of Oxnard.
