Renaissance Nashville Hotel

Renovation
Nashville, TN

Based on a long-standing and successful relationship, Highland Hospitality retained PDSI to perform an extensive renovation of the Nashville Renaissance Hotel located in the heart of downtown Nashville Tennessee.

The Nashville Renaissance Hotel, adjacent to Nashville's Convention Center. PDSI's charge was to manage a $9 million renovation designed to appeal to both hotel guests and individuals who live, work and play in downtown Nashville. In addition, the scope of the work was to tie in with the adjacent convention center to allow the hotel to better capture this market during convention events.

The renovation included the complete renovation of the lobby, food and beverage spaces, a reconcepting initiative of the "Bridge Bar" deli (which crosses over Commerce Street), as well as renovation of the guestrooms, great room, miscellaneous meeting spaces, and public bathrooms. In the guestrooms, the renovation included the replacement of the tub surrounds, installation of iPod and laptop computer stations, wireless internet throughout the hotel, and the Presidential Suite.

The renovations at the Renaissance have given a new sense of identity to the hotel, one that reflects the diverse needs of the people who live and work in downtown Nashville while still incorporating the Music City theme.
