Originally conceived as a mid-scale version of the popular “W Hotel” brand, the JAMES hotel brand was the creation of three entrepreneurs from New York City. After solidifying a relationship with the owners of the W brand, and the retention of
Deborah Burke & Partners as Design Architect
and Interior Designer, James Hotel Scottsdale LLC
retained PDSI to provide advisory services during the construction of this hotel.

PDSI’s services were structured around an
advisory role to these inexperienced hotel real
estate developers. Specific services included
periodic site visits during construction, advising these developers on actions to take to avoid
oversights or correct deficiencies, and issuing
reports or meeting minutes to record certain
milestones or agreements.
